Complete notice
A claim should identify the rights owner, authority to act, original work, exact reported URL, explanation, good-faith statement, accuracy statement, contact information and electronic signature.
Review and action
The platform may preserve evidence, request clarification, restrict access temporarily, notify the content provider where appropriate, remove or restore content, and keep an audit record. Incomplete or abusive notices may be rejected.
Counter-information and disputes
Where appropriate, a content provider may submit authorization, ownership information or another response. The platform does not adjudicate complex ownership disputes and may require the parties to obtain legal resolution.
